| Tables:
Because library furniture
should give a lifetime of use, long time proven methods of
craftsmanship are incorporated in the manufacturing
process. The best selection of oak hardwoods and
veneers are used. Double dowel attachment is used in
all leg base items. The rails are glued to the legs by
means of dowel pins. This construction is reinforced by
wood corner blocks for additional strength. All leg
base items are assembled at the factory, which gives further
assurance of stability and life long use. All items are
standard with adjustable glides. All writing surfaces
are featured with high pressure laminate on solid core
tops. Each exposed edge is banded with a 1/4"
solid oak band for protection to the top.
For a coordinated design,
this series offers a complete collection of technical
pieces. The same durable construction as used on the
tables is featured in the atlas case, dictionary stand, card
catalog case, magazine racks, etc.
The post and panel modular
study carrel offers the flexibility in design and arrangement
to meet the needs of the new modern library that wants
traditional use. Configuration and adaptable use are
varied. This carrel is easily adapted to meet today's
modern technology.
